It’s that time of year again! That period of autumn where we are either:
- developing a stonking new script idea that will be ready for competition in the New Year? ( Or)
- fetching out an old script and revamping it in the hope that this time round it will find a more sympathetic reader?
Whichever one it is, I’d like to recommend notes taken from Karl Ilglesias’ session on creating compelling stories for emotional impact. It offers a raft of practical advice and is a sure-fire way to make sure you are covering your bases and evoking emotion in the reader.
First part can be found here and I will make the second part available next week.
All the best with your creating, editing and tweaking
